I also musical theme the costumes were ingenious, they helped to tell us who was who. The Sharks and their girls in their really bright, flamboyant outfits contrasted with the Jets who closely appeared to be a uniform. The performers depicted their characters to perfection. I cant imagine the difficulty of having to act, spill and dance, especially when the chorography was so abstain & complicated.

I really care Officer Krupke and physician: like two opposite kinds of adults: Krupke who distrusts & dislikes the kids (but is pretty funny), and doc who is sympathetic. Of the gang kids I care Riff the best: the participant was really good & I like that character. He reminds me a bit of my blood brother (which isnt necessarily a good thing) Anita was great: she brought a touch of humour to the other than tragic story. The orchestra was amazing in replicating the original songs which I turn over are only bye-bye by the music of Rogers and Hammerstein. As the curtain closed I had tears in my eye and as I left-hand(a) the flimsy Regent Theatre with thou Officer Krupke stuck in my head.
