In Patagonia Summary In Patagonia is one of the more rag checks that Ive read lately. Its the only book that I know of that crosses theives with archaeology. It is principally a collection of Bruce Chatwins logs and descriptions of his travels in the South American go down in the late 70s and earliest 80s (during the Cold War), filled also with short stories and vignettes. Some of them be true, though some aggregate the facts with fiction. Chatwin leaves these stories hanging and ties most of them corroborate together in the end. Chatwin tells of the lives of the relative majority in Patagonia with much detail.

Since farmers make up most of Patagonias workforce, Chatwin stays with quite a a few them and learns virtually the culture, history, and heritage of Patagonia.
