How was life during the Great Depression?

In October 1929, the business line market crashed. The Great Depression was the worst issue it had happened in American history. It besides affected the entire country. many American people baffled their money and their jobs. They were jobless and they were ineffective to make rents or house payments. Some of them were kicked out of their houses because they couldnt afford the house. And were homeless living on the street. The causes of the Great embossment were when people started loaning money from the bank, and then they would purchase stocks on margin and get profit from it, but people did not make money off of their stock and they owed for the original stock. The coupled States citizens invested saving into the stock market, but banks were failing and people disconnected their savings. Some people were trying to take their money from the bank. Millions of investors give as smallish as 25 percent of the portray value of a stock, and paid off the balance when the stock was sold after the price went up. America people lost everything that they had to live on the streets. state thought that the government should attend to them. But there were not official programs to provide for the needy. president Herbert make clean believed that self-reliance made people strong.



He also believed that the Depression would quickly pass. He tried to encourage the American people, telling them the hard times would soon be over. People were unprotected because there were pernicious people who roamed among them, taking what little the residents had. The American people were angry at President Hoover because he wouldnt help them. Many of the homeless matte up like they had lost the battle. And it seemed things couldnt get worse. When severe drought conditions prevailed across much of Americans plains, Dust roll were created.
