Define Globalization. Why did it occur and impact it has had on the earth.

I consider it to be another word for Capitalism on global scale. As the economist state Globalization was brought about when the coolness war ended and they seized the opportunity to spread capitalist teaching over a vast area around the world (Henretta and Brody, 2010). And it is eachwhere. There seems to be a McDonalds on nearly every street corner throughout the world. Nike took advantage of this movement and go their operations from the United States to Vietnam and China.



These are not the only mega companies to do this and it has put a hurting on America. Many companies run through moved to third world countries looking for cheaper labor and and then have the product sent back to the U.S. for us consumers to buy, which we do. We barleycorn have a choice unless you make your own cloths, bring forth food, or have your own car factory. Unfortunately, for the world as a whole Globalization has made the strong economic countries stronger and weak countries weaker. It is stated that Outsourcing has undermined the wages of the American worker and professionals and threaten the long term of our nations economy (Henretta and Brody, 2010).
